It was a tale of two teams with very different fortunes last night at the annual Orchard Media Quiz. BBC Guernsey's 'Gerry Knotweed' took home the coveted trophy, thanks in large part to their flawless recreation of a key scene from the Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society movie.

But the BBC didn't have it all their own way. Their second team 'Kay Keaters' suffered the ignominy of taking home the booby prize of the not-so-coveted golden potato.

The Guernsey Quiz-erary and Potato Peel Pie Society, from ITV, came a close second on the night, while Lily James' Stunt Doubles, from the Guernsey Press, took home the bronze medal. Novichok Athletic, from Island FM took fourth as The Orchard Pips made big improvements from last year's unspeakable finish (last) to come fifth. Meanwhile two new teams to the media quiz, The New(s) Kids on the Block!, from Bailiwick Express and Quizlamic State, from Business Eye finished a respectable sixth and seventh.

The bonus round this year consisted of teams re-creating a scene from the new Guernsey movie, The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society!
