Channel Islands PR-led communications agency Orchard has grown its agency management team with two new account directors.
Rebecca Lane has been promoted from senior account manager to the role, and Georgie Vance has joined the agency with a decade of experience in delivering multi-channel marketing, PR and communications campaigns for Specsavers. She was most recently based in Canada to help establish the brand there.
Account directors are responsible for a portfolio of clients spanning sectors as varied as telecoms to hospitality, public affairs to financial services, property to healthcare, and everything in between – highlighting how Orchard has broadened its client base in recent years.
Rebecca and Georgie also have direct management responsibility for other members of Orchard’s team, guiding their development and reinforcing Orchard’s reputation for training and nurturing top-tier creative talent.
Dan Gallienne, head of client services at Orchard, celebrated the great news: “In promoting Rebecca and hiring Georgie we’ve appointed two brilliant comms people to our agency management team. They’re going to shape the way we deliver client work, contribute to agency and client strategy and be a brilliant resource for clients and the rest of our team.

“Rebecca’s promotion is the result of her unwavering dedication to Orchard and her dependability to go above and beyond for clients. Georgie is an exciting hire who brings a new set of skills, varied experience and valuable global perspective to the comms campaigns we’re delivering for clients.”
Georgie joins Orchard’s Guernsey office and Rebecca works from Manchester, where she has a remit to expand Orchard’s UK client base.
“Just because we’re an agency born in the Channel Islands doesn’t limit us to only working within our shores,” said Dan. “Georgie’s global experience and Rebecca’s UK base are obvious ways we are broadening our ambition and growing our agency.”
