Scampiones have been crowned the Orchard Media Quiz Champions for 2017!
Made up of six BBC Guernsey reporters the team trailed the Top Trumps of Island FM at the halfway point, but a strong politics round, backed up with some good timing on their ‘Trump Card’, was enough to see them home.
It’s fair to say they were suitably pleased!
Front Page News, from the Guernsey Press, came a valiant third, while #wherespaul?, from ITV, finished fourth. Hot Diggedy Dog, the BBC’s second team, narrowly avoided the wooden spoon as (for shame) Orchard’s own Golden Pips took home the Oscar for Best Picture, or, as it is now known, the booby prize.
