Georgie, or GV to most, is a dynamic and strategic communications professional with nearly a decade of experience across digital marketing, social media, and PR. At Specsavers her leadership helped shape the brand’s consumer-facing voice across Ireland and Scotland, where she built bespoke social media strategies, led regional activations, and managed high-impact media relations – blending creativity with commercial impact.

She was instrumental in launching community engagement initiatives and driving brand storytelling that resonated locally. After relocating to Vancouver to join Specsavers Canada she spearheaded a shift from paid-first to earned-first strategies and implemented a measurement framework to track campaign impact.

Georgie holds a Level 4 Professional Certificate in Marketing from the Chartered Institute of Marketing and has earned industry accolades including awards from the Charities Institute Ireland and the Canadian Public Relations Society.

Now at Orchard, GV brings her passion for authentic storytelling, strategic thinking, and cross-market experience to help clients build meaningful connections with their audiences.

In the office and outside of work, she is known for her infectious energy and enthusiasm, she values meaningful connections and moments of laughter — often over a glass of wine.
