Orchard picks up award nomination from leading industry title

Orchard PR’s team has been recognised for its continued growth and success by Citywealth – the UK’s premier publication for private wealth management professionals.

The Guernsey based public relations agency, which works with clients across the Crown Dependencies, has been shortlisted in the ‘Communications and PR Agency of the Year’ category at the Citywealth Brand Management and Reputation Awards. In order to be shortlisted by the judges, agencies must have consistently displayed well-coordinated, creative, and impactful PR campaigns over the past 12 months.

Already the largest PR agency in the Crown Dependencies and with a 23-year history, Orchard continued its growth last year by launching a dedicated Digital Content team, led by ex-BBC journalist Mike Wilkins. The move was taken by the senior leadership team in response to the ever-changing ways in which we are consuming media, and the need to lead the way in helping clients to create relevant, innovative and impactful content. In the space of six months, the team has already created 33 pieces of video content for clients across the corporate and consumer space.

2019 also saw the agency take home the award for ‘Best Use of Content’ at the Chartered Institute of Public Relations regional PRide Awards, alongside a number of landmark new business wins.

Managing director, client services, Brooke Kenyon said: “2019 was an incredibly busy and successful year for the team, when we not only continued our work with some of the leading brands in financial and corporate services across the Crown Dependencies, we also won a number of competitive pitches.”

The Citywealth Awards recognise and reward agency and client teams across 20 categories, and Orchard is named in the ‘Communications and PR Agency of the Year’ category alongside nine other agencies from across the UK. The winners will be chosen via an independent judging panel and public vote.

Brooke continued: “To be recognised by such a major title in the financial services industry is an achievement in itself, and testament to the continued hard work and dedication of our team. Competition will no doubt be tough, so if you can spare a moment to support us, we’d be grateful of your vote.”
